The Operational Spine Under Everything Else

Campaigns generate data. Without a revenue system that captures, routes, scores and reports it, that data becomes an argument between two dashboards. We design, build and run the system underneath.

What is RevOps + CRM Solutions?

Revenue operations (RevOps) is the function that aligns marketing, sales and customer success around one data model, one set of definitions and one reporting layer — and CRM implementation is how that alignment gets built into a system people actually use.

The problem RevOps solves is visible in most B2B companies: marketing reports one pipeline number, sales reports another, and reconciling them takes a week of spreadsheet work that nobody trusts afterwards. That is not a reporting bug. It is the symptom of two teams operating different definitions of the same objects.

The order of work matters. Most failed CRM implementations were configuration exercises that skipped process design — the tool was set up to reflect how things currently happen, including the parts that do not work. We define the lifecycle stages, qualification criteria, routing rules and SLAs first, get sales to agree to them, and only then build.

We implement HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and Odoo. We hold no allegiance to any of them and recommend based on your sales motion, team size, operational complexity and three-year total cost — not on partner economics.

Comparison

HubSpot vs Salesforce vs Zoho vs Odoo

Four genuinely different fits. This is how we decide.

Cost trajectoryRises sharply with contacts and seatsHigh from the startLowestLow licence, higher implementation

The most common mistake is choosing Salesforce for a 12-person sales team because it is the enterprise standard, then paying for an admin nobody budgeted for. The second most common is choosing HubSpot for a complex enterprise motion and hitting the customisation ceiling in year two.

Scope

What's Included

Process Design

Lifecycle stages, qualification criteria, handoff points and SLAs defined and agreed before any configuration begins.

Data Model & Migration

Object structure, field architecture, deduplication rules, and migration from your existing system with validation.

Lead Routing & Scoring

Automated routing with SLA enforcement, and a scoring model built from what actually predicts conversion in your data.

Automation & Workflows

Nurture, task creation, alerting and lifecycle progression automated so reps do less administration.

Attribution & Reporting

Multi-touch attribution reconciled to closed-won revenue, with dashboards sales leadership will genuinely use.

Forecasting

Pipeline forecasting built on stage-weighted probability calibrated to your historical conversion rates.

Enablement & Adoption

Role-based training, written documentation and adoption tracking, because an unadopted CRM is worse than a spreadsheet.

Ongoing RevOps

Optional retainer covering data hygiene, reporting evolution, process refinement and quarterly system review.

What Does CRM Implementation Cost?

Driven by data migration complexity and process maturity far more than by platform choice.

Platform licence costs are paid directly by you to the vendor. We do not resell licences or take partner commissions, which is why our platform recommendation can be trusted.

Is This Right for You?

This works well in some situations and badly in others. Here is an honest filter before you commit budget.

This will likely work if…

  • Marketing and sales report different pipeline numbers
  • Leads are routed manually or fall through gaps
  • You cannot answer which channel produced closed revenue
  • Reps avoid the CRM and keep their own spreadsheets
  • You are implementing a CRM for the first time
  • You are migrating between platforms

This is the wrong move if…

  • Nobody will enforce process change on the sales team
  • You want the tool configured to match current broken process
  • There is no internal owner for the system after handover
  • You need it live in two weeks
  • You want licences resold at a margin — we do not do that
  • Leadership will not agree on lifecycle stage definitions
FAQ

RevOps + CRM Solutions FAQs

HubSpot for inbound-led mid-market teams wanting fast setup and strong native marketing automation. Salesforce for enterprise motions with complex customisation needs and a budget for a dedicated admin. Zoho for cost-conscious SMBs wanting a full suite. Odoo where open-source ERP plus CRM with deep operational requirements makes sense. The decision follows your sales motion and three-year total cost, not market share.

RevOps is the function that aligns marketing, sales and customer success around one data model, one set of definitions and one reporting layer. Practically it covers process design, CRM architecture, lead routing and scoring, automation, attribution and forecasting. Its purpose is to make revenue predictable and measurable rather than reconstructed from spreadsheets each quarter.

Six to twelve weeks for most mid-market builds. Two weeks of diagnosis, two weeks of process design, four to five weeks of build and migration, and two to three weeks of training and adoption work. Complex Salesforce or Odoo implementations with heavy integration and migration can run longer. Anything promising two weeks is configuring a tool without designing a process.

Because configuration happens before process design. The system gets set up to reflect how things currently work, including the broken parts, and then nobody uses it because it makes their job harder. The second cause is no internal owner after handover, so data quality degrades within two quarters. Both are process problems, not software problems.

No. Licences are purchased directly by you from the vendor. We take no partner commissions, which is deliberate — it is the only way a platform recommendation can be trusted. It also means we will tell you when a cheaper platform is the right answer, which a reseller has no incentive to do.

Usually, and it is often the better answer. Most instances we audit are not fundamentally broken — they have accumulated unused fields, contradictory stage definitions, broken automations and duplicate records. A cleanup and process redesign typically costs a fraction of a migration and produces most of the benefit. We will say which situation you are in after the health check.

Multi-touch attribution reconciled to closed-won revenue in the CRM, rather than platform-reported conversions which double-count. We build the model to reflect your actual buying cycle length, agree the weighting with both marketing and sales before it goes live, and expose it in dashboards leadership will use. The agreement step matters more than the model — an unagreed attribution model just relocates the argument.
